Where every child is known by name.
Brightwater Academy is a nursery, primary and secondary school. Small classes, firm routines and teachers who notice help children do well and feel safe.
Reading, number and science taught in classes of about 18, with weekly progress notes.

Three stages, one school.
Children stay with teachers who know their story. Pick the stage you are looking at to see what a normal week is like.
Nursery
Ages 2 to 4
Learning through play, stories, songs and outdoor time. Children settle in gently, with a key teacher who greets them every morning.
Admissions and feesPrimary school
Primary 1 to 6, ages 5 to 11
Strong reading, number and science, with homework that is short and useful. Children leave Primary 6 confident and curious.
Admissions and feesSecondary school
JSS 1 to SS 3, ages 11 to 17
Subject specialists, a science laboratory and a tutor for every class. Careful preparation for WAEC and NECO, and advice on what comes next.
Admissions and feesWhat parents tell us they want.
We built the school around four questions every parent asks.
Is my child safe?
Gates are staffed all day. Pupils are handed to named adults at collection, and every visitor signs in.
Will they be noticed?
Classes of about 18 mean a teacher sees who is struggling, and who is bored, within the first week.
Will I know how they are doing?
A short progress note every week and a full report each term. You can message the class teacher directly.
Will they do well?
We teach for understanding first, then exams. Children learn how to think, and the results follow.
